Margazhi Maha Utsavam In Orlando

 Happening during the month of December every year, this festival is a celebration of classical music and dance forms. This is more of a heritage and legacy being followed for decades. It is the time ace musicians come together to perform in various sabhas or auditoriums. The events happen across the entire city of Chennai in various places simultaneously and people gather in huge numbers to catch their favorite singers singing kritis. 

 "Thiruppavai" is the primary devotional practice associated with the "Margazhi Utsavam" (festival) where people celebrate by chanting these verses dedicated to Lord Vishnu, particularly during the early morning hours.  

In that same tradition Srishti Foundation is striving to bring an essence of Margazhi Utsavam to Orlando for the first time.
